Dr. Theodosios Neamonitis, PT, DPT, MS
Dr. Theodosios Neamonitis, PT, DPT, MS received his Master's degree at Long Island University and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Stony Brook University. Dr. Neamonitis is the President and owner of Millennium Physical Therapy.
Dr. Neamonitis has extensive knowledge and experience in manual therapy with a focus on joint mobilization, trigger point and myofascial therapy, and sports specific rehabilitation. He specializes in shoulder, knee and spinal rehabilitation. He is a long time member of the Orthopedic Section and the Sports Physical Therapy Section of the APTA.
Dr. Neamonitis's goal is to provide the best physical therapy care to his patients in a comfortable and compassionate environment. He is able to achieve this by providing individualized, hands on treatments and educating his patients on health and wellness. Dr. Neamonitis believes in treating patients as a whole person and not just limiting treatment to the diagnosis for which they were referred.
Dr. Marina Lascarides, PT, DPT
Dr. Marina Lascarides, PT, DPT received her Bachelor in Life Science degree, as well as her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Marina has had clinical affiliations in Franklin Hospital North Shore/LIJ, sub-acute rehabilitation centers, and out-patient facilities in which she evaluated and treated a wide range of patients beginning with post-operative orthopedic surgeries, as well as those who suffered from stroke, and Parkinson's disease. She has also had a pediatric clinical affiliation with the Department of Education in which she has treated elementary school children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Erb's Palsy, and other conditions.
Dr. Marina treats her patients with compassion and works on restoring her patients' prior level of function to the best of her ability and finds being able to improve a patient's quality of life a truly rewarding experience. She plans to continue learning and developing her skills through Continuing Education classes focusing on manual therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
Dr. Louis Papagianakis, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS
Dr. Louis Papagianakis, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS received his Bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University and his Master's of Physical Therapy from Hunter College. Dr. Louis is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). He served as a physical therapist for the Long Island Lizards and Long Island Rough Riders. He has completed multiple continuing education courses with a focus on orthopaedic and sports specific rehabilitation. Dr. Louis specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and sports populations and has been involved in the rehabilitation of athletes on the high school, collegiate and professional level.
Ranjani Krishnakumar, PT, MS
Ranjani Krishnakumar, PT, MS received her Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from The Government Medical College & Hospital in Nagpur, India. During her internship, she has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings in which she evaluated and treated musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary cases. She also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Cardiac Rehabilitation and has worked at the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai, India where she evaluated and treated a wide range of patients with cardiac conditions as well as focused on counseling for risk modifications, primary and secondary prevention. She has done the courses on Mulligan Concepts for joint mobilizations.
Ranjani received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston where she focused on physical therapy in neurosciences. She has experience treating patients post-stroke, with Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis. She also has treated children with Cerebral Palsy, Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy and Developmental Delay.
Ranjani treats her patients with compassion and utmost dedication while having a goal of restoring them to their prior level of function. She also intends to deepen her knowledge by learning new techniques and skills through continued education focusing on neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation.
Nikitha Rao, PT, MS
Nikitha Rao, PT, MS received her Bachelors in Physical Therapy from Seth G.S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, India. During her internship in KEM hospital, Nikitha has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings in which she evaluated and treated musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiovascular cases. She has also worked with geriatric and pediatric population. Nikitha received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. She has done courses on Mulligan Concepts for joint mobilizations. Nikitha treats her patients with compassion to help them achieve better quality of life. She plans to continue learning new techniques and skills through continued education focusing on manual therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
Latika M. Thakur, PT, MS
Latika Thakur specializes in orthopedic musculoskeletal injuries. She works diligently using manual therapy techniques to treat patients with spinal dysfunction, sports related injuries, and post-surgical conditions. Latika has ample experience in Therapeutic Pilates, which gives her an in depth understanding of the necessity of core strength, in relation to total body fitness.
Latika earned her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Sheffield Hallam University in 2007. She continually upgrades her skill set by enrolling in continuing education courses: Maitland's Mobilizations, Mulligan Concepts (upper and lower quarter) and Myofascial Release. Latika has treated international sportsmen and eminent Indian film personalities.
Valeria Covello, PTA
Valeria Covello, PTA, BS received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from St. Francis College as well as her Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy from Kingsborough Community College. Valeria has completed internships in both outpatient and inpatient acute rehab settings, and has knowledge and experience in both non-surgical and post-operative orthopedics, neurological disorders, sport rehabilitation, and chronic pain. She has knowledge and experience in manual therapy, focusing on myofascial release and trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, and joint mobilization.
Valeria strives to improve her patients' quality of life. She is patient, persistent and motivating, as well as understanding, kind and compassionate, and uses her good sense of humor to make all patients feel at ease throughout their treatments. She enjoys getting to know all of her patients, and believes in treating them as a whole individual, not just by their diagnosis. She is working on becoming certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is determined to fill her "tool box" with the latest physical therapy skills/techniques and deepening her knowledge of physical therapy by taking continuing education courses, focusing on orthopedic and sport rehabilitation. Her goal is to use both her knowledge in exercise science and physical therapy to provide quality care to her patients- helping them achieve their short-term and long-term functional goals.
